JACK WERNICK is a Writer, Director, Editor and Educator. His plays have been presented in New York and Miami in association with Naked Angels, the Tank, the New School for Drama and the Midtown International Theatre Festival. He is an Editor (Theatre and Art) of The Theatre Times and has been published by HowlRound and Time Out New York. Awards include Honorable Mentions from Trazzler, Outstanding New Script Award nomination at the Midtown International Theatre Festival (MITF) and Best Play Award at the BAD Theater Fest. Azalea Path, his play about Sylvia Plath, was a selection of the 2013 MITF. His most recent production was Destination Wedding at the New York New Works Festival in 2016. He is currently at work on a short film titled "Anjelica's Honor". Jack lives in New York City.
